Lunch on the farm! On weekends, year round, we offer a full café lunch menu, that includes breakfast and brunch items. Sit out at the shaded picnic tables in season and enjoy the mountain views, or relax inside our 1820s solar-powered farmhouse.
Chef Rob Handel brings a new approach to our menu with both farmed and foraged local ingredients. We feature our own meat and poultry products as well as seasonal foods from other local and regional farms. Each week, there is a changing menu of salad platters, paninis, hearty sandwiches, soups and specialty hot dishes. Try a charcuterie platter with offerings from regional cow, sheep and goat dairies with our own meats and pates on a bed of organic greens. Our award winning Oink and Moo Chili is always available. Our homemade breads and desserts with local fruits and flours are delicious. We carefully plan our weekly special dishes around what vegetables, fruits, meats and poultry are available that week! We are careful to offer vegetarian and gluten free options. You can always eat here or take out.
Note: We are really enjoying the wonderful turnout this season. Although it is not necessary, a reservation is appreciated. Cellphones often don’t work but we offer unrestrictd Wi-Fi service at the cafe.
The Cafe operates all year! The cafe is open 11am-3pm every Saturday and Sunday year-round.
