The Grange Kitchen, April 29, 6pm

Join us for Grange Kitchen, Heather Ridge Farm’s casual monthly meal that lets you eat like, and eat with, a farmer! Enjoy a buffet featuring one of our favorite comfort food dishes and eat and chat with farmers Carol and John and chef Rob in our 1820s farmhouse cafe. Chicken Fricassee (GF)
Our pastured chicken slow cooked and finished with cream and spring vegetables

Spring Salad (GF, Vegetarian)
Barber’s Farm high tunnel greens and beets,
roasted Schoharie Valley squash, radish, and cucumber.
Served with farm made honey mustard vinaigrette and
yogurt and pink peppercorn dressings

Biscuits (Vegetarian)
Fluffy buttermilk biscuits

Almond Cake (GF, Vegetarian)
Rich almond cake topped with whipped cream

Farm made sodas and iced teas, coffee, tea, and herbal teas

(Vegetarian entree available with advanced notice)
Cost: $24/person for adults, children under 14 pay their age



Supper Club:

Chef Rob Handel creates special 5 course dinners with the best of our own meat and poultry, combined with other locally farmed and foraged items.  This is Rob’s time to really shine, and put his touch on dishes you will swoon over.

We source our vegetables and fruits from local and organic farms, and base the menus around what is at its peak goodness.  Our menus are not released long ahead so we can be sure of top quality items.  And it is subject to change, if the produce does not measure up!  And it is also subject to change if Rob forages an exciting item that he’ll incorporate into the menu at the last minute.

In good weather, dinner is held outside under stars, or under our tents.  In winter and inclement weather, we dine inside the 1820s original farmhouse.

We ask that you secure your reservation with a credit card. Seating is limited to 20 spots.
