Join us for the February installment of the Grange Kitchen, Heather Ridge Farm’s monthly farm to table feast that gives you a chance to eat like, and eat with, a farmer! The Grange Kitchen is the casual cousin to our monthly five course tasting dinner. Fill your plate and sit down with farmers Carol and John or chef Rob, and learn about whats going on around the farm and in the kitchen. The meal is $24/person and includes menu below, as well as farm made sodas, iced teas, coffee, and hot tea. Reservations required, please call 518-239-6234 to reserve. 6-8pm.

Butternut Squash Soup (GF, Vegetarian)
Roasted butternut squash with cream and spices
Coq au Vin (GF)
Our pastured chicken slow cooked with mushrooms and winter vegetables
Vegetarian option available with advanced notice
Salad (GF, Vegetarian)
Massaged kale with roasted cauliflower and winter squash, radish, and cucumber. Served with yogurt and pink peppercorn dressing and honey mustard vinaigrette
Rice Pilaf (GF, Vegetarian)
Toasted rice with almonds and herbs
Pots de Crème (GF, Vegetarian)
Orange scented cream custards
Freshly Roasted Fair-Trade Organic Coffee

Chef Rob Handel creates special 5 course dinners with the best of our own meat and poultry, combined with other locally farmed and foraged items. This is Rob’s time to really shine, and put his touch on dishes you will swoon over.
We source our vegetables and fruits from local and organic farms, and base the menus around what is at its peak goodness. Our menus are not released long ahead so we can be sure of top quality items. And it is subject to change, if the produce does not measure up! And it is also subject to change if Rob forages an exciting item that he’ll incorporate into the menu at the last minute.
In good weather, dinner is held outside under stars, or under our tents. In winter and inclement weather, we dine inside the 1820s original farmhouse.
We ask that you secure your reservation with a credit card. Seating is limited to 20 spots.
